  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Icons for mailgroup and Groups can not be removed from CP

Basic Pleskian
Plesk: 9.5.2build95100504.17
OS: SuSE 11 Linux 2.6.25.20-0.7-default

If a mailuser login with his email address (user@domain.tld) to the Plesk Control Panel the Icons and functions for "Mailgroup" and "Groups" are still shown in "his" Control Panel. There is no way to remove this two Icons from the Control Panel configuration from Admin!

I don't want to use this features for a explizit domain and also not let the customers to configure this options. But there is no opportunity to remove this options for email clients who logins with there email address via the Control Panel.

I think this is a bug or a missed configuration option in Plesk.
Can you please have a look on this an provide a solution.

Best Regards
Tom

We have already feature request about adding possibility for removing separate buttons from interface as it was possible in Plesk 8.x versions. I hope it will be implemented soon.

Many thanks for your answer Igor!
I can't understand why this important feature was missed in Plesk 9.
Hope this will be implemented soon...
