  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

IIS 7.5 64-bit mode?

I'm a bit confused by some of the information I've read. Can Plesk run on IIS 7.5 running in 64-bit mode? Or must 32-bit mode be enabled? The system requirements on the product page suggest it is 64 bit compatible, but it installs placing IIS into 32 bit mode (Win Server 2008 R2).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Plesk can be installed and does work properly on Windows x64 platform since Plesk 7.6 version for Windows. However Plesk is 32 bit application therefore it switches IIS to 32 bit mode.
