  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved IIS Log files not backup during Plesk backup

Moazzam Parkar

Basic Pleskian
While taking backup of plesk, every IIS log is not getting archived.
I can't suspend everytime during backup. Is there solution for this???

[c43c7761-543f-4c80-a0d5-c3871b87ae10]: Unable to get attributes of the file D:\Inetpub\vhosts\mydomain.com\logs\iis\W3SVC10\u_extend3.log: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. The file will not be archived. [:100986112]

Plesk Backup Manager cannot access the file as it is being opened by IIS. Windows do not allow access to open files from other processes.
Actually, this is a minor warning, and it can be ignored. You can just exclude log files from a backup.
