Install php-mcrypt on PHP 5.2.6

Hey guys,

PHP 5.2.6
OS Fedora 8 (warewolf)

I need to install php-mcrypt on my plesk system...

It needs a dependencie php-common and scare that i will break somthing

Yum is not even install so i can't use that..

anyone else installed php-mcrypt using only rpms?

anyone got a step by step instructions?
