  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Installing Node.js App to PLESK

New Pleskian
Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum and hope, that I have provided the thread in the correct subfolder.

I want to install a Shopify Node.js App on my Plesk.
Unfortunately I am not able to install the App dependencies.

My Application start file is in the subfolder: server/server.js
Therefore I need to set the Application Root to: /app.com/server

The problem is, that the package.json lies in the main directory of the App in:
/app.com

Plesk is not able to find the package.json and therefore does not install the dependencies...

Maybe I am not seeing the easy path ahead, but I am really looking forward to someone helping me!

I was following this tutorial:

Best regards!

Try setting 'Application Root' to '/app.com' and 'Application Startup File' to '/seserver/server.js'
