  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue adding MIME types

Hi ,

We are using Plesk version 9.5.2 and having issues adding MIME types to an individual's web site.

When I click on the virtual directories tab in the Files group, the software hangs and eventually times out. It never does display the virtual directories, so I can not get to the "Add MIME type" tab. Our virtual directories (web sites) is quite a large list.

Is there a work around to this issue?, Can I add MIME types another way?

If I go directly to IIS, I can view all the virtual directories there.

Can I add the MIME type to the individuals web site directly in IIS, or will this break the relationship between Plesk and IIS and cause more issues?

Thanks

Brad
