PLESK Reloaded Win SP1 installed , Serv-U + Merak
1-Since serv-u works under system account Clients can delete folders httpdocs , web_users...etc under their ftp root
this causes problem since some clients delete such PLESK folders.
This should be somehow fixed i.e switch servu account other than "system" say "servu_ccount" and
let "servu_ccount" access to httpdocs , httpsdocs folders
2- "Scripts only" , "Execute" & "None" can only be applied to "virtual dirs" why? It should also be applied to
normal folders
3- NTFS Permission names and PLESK permission names mismatch on folders this makes a great confision
NTFS is "modify", "read" , "read&execute" , "write" , "Full control" where plesk uses invalid labels
List directory , Create files , Traverse directory , what are these and why?
4- File manager does not work if a non ASCII named document is placed in a folder
5- MSSQL is missing "COllation Name" while creating the DB, this is very important, user may use a collation other than
Latin-1
6- When a user creates a virtual directory , he cant delete it... it gives error
7- When domain aliases is being added as Full these domains are also added to Mail Server (MERAK)
Some of These issues were discussed earlier and said to be fixed in SP1 but none of them are fixed in SP1. Hope they may be fixed asap
