  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved let's encrypt not working with preferred domain with www

Luciano

New Pleskian
I have a really annoying problem.

Let's envrypt does not work it the preferred domain is with www and so it does not renew the certificate.

I have to manually change the hosting setting to preferred domain naked
renew the certificate and the switch back to the www preferred domain.

There is a workaround ?

i see that the naked domain is on a fixed ip while the www is a CNAME of the server.
The CNAME is on ipv4 but making a dig it resolves as ipv6.

The server name as both a A record and AAAA record.
i will try to remove the AAAA record and see if it work.
