• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

License equivalents

Can someone tell me what version 12 license is equivalent to a version 11 "Parallels Plesk Panel 10.x/11.x and Later" license from a feature standpoint? I'm thinking those older licenses turn on the equivalent features of the 'web pro' edition since the wordpress link shows up?

The key difference between v11 and v12 licenses is the following:
  • When buying Plesk 10.x/11.x license you have to choose domains limit (10, 30, 100, 300 or Unlimited) and may optionally add some features.
  • When buying Plesk 12.x license you have to choose edition (Web Admin, Web App, Web Pro, Web Host) and may optionally add some features. Each edition has specific domains limit and already includes some features - see more info info here http://www.odin.com/products/plesk/plesk-editions/.
So to decide which v12 license would be a good replacement for your v11 license, your need to choose v12 edition which matches to the domains limit in your v11 license and compare features included into the edition with the features enabled in your v11 license.
