Hi guys!!
I am having a big problem with my users.
They tend to send massive emails with announcements that tend to slow down the performance of the server significally.
I was looking into alternatives that I can do to prevent them from sending single emails to more than 100 recipients. I saw a solution mentioning creating a file inside /var/qmail/control called maxrcpt and just adding a number inside that would be the number of recipients I want to allow.
Now, I am wondering how do I add that to the qmail configuration? I have no idea. I am not that fluent using linux but if you could let me know which file would I need to edit and what would I need to add in order to include the maxrcpt file so it can limit the amount of recipients?
I can navigate through directories in linux, create files, edit files, but that's about it.
I would like to implement this solution asap since its becoming a big burden on the server load.
Thanks much in advance,
Teo
