  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Location of my.cnf with Docker

cool_sh

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

i am wondering where exactly the configruation file vor MySQL can be found when using mysql in a docker container.

But neither inside the folders used with "Volume-Mapping" nor below /var/lib/docker/devicemapper/mnt/<id>/* I am able to find the right one.

I think a lot of you use this solution for additional versions of mysql, who can help?

If you're using the MySQL Docker container, you should be passing my.cnf values when creating the container anyways, not after creating it - docker containers are empheral.

If it's some other container that has MySQL bundled, it'll depend, but usually its either /etc/my.cnf, or in /etc/my.cnf.d

Thanks,
yes its directly mysql from docker hub.

Sorry for the stupid question but how can i pass additional parameters? Didn't get the syntax to be used e.g.
-e"set @innodb_buffer_pool_instances=2;" - where to put this in?
