  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Lost Address Book after upgrade: 7.5.4 to 8.0

I've looked around but have not found anyone else who has lost Address Books on an upgrade from 7.5.4 to 8.0. I did find some older messages, pre 7.5.4 upgrades.

Anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you repair? I happen to have built a new server for my upgrades, then upgraded from 7.5.4 to 8.0 using a backup/restore. I still have the old server running on an internal IP until I can make sure I've got everything before shutting it down.

Thanks in advance.

You might try using the migration manager instead of psa backup..

Ya but, the machine is already moved over, restored, running so, kinda late for that :).

Won't work anyhow as the users and domains are already there and MM is not intelligent enough to import smaller missing items such as address books.

Is there any other way? Anyone know?

Mike
