• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Lost Data and Links

We had created a new website with lot's of data on 2nd tier pages but when these pages were moved to first tier (at client's request) the data was lost/deleted.

Secondly, we have found that since pages are assigned ascending numbers in the site map hierarchy, if a page gets moved or deleted, then the inter-site links of remaining pages that have them "break" and go to different pages than originally assigned.

I'm assuming that the software reassigns page numbers which is why this problem occurs. Be forewarned that until SB Developement changes to allowing us to name the pages i.e. domain.com/page-name.php or stops dynamically changing page numbers this problem will persist.

Lastly, sometimes when we create an inter-site page link the font changes from Arial to Tahoma and the pt. size gets smaller and will not change no matter what we do.
