Mail delivered every 30 minutes - why?

Hey guys, over the last few weeks, I've been noticing mail being delivered very slowly through my emails accounts. It has worked out to be exactly 30 minutes. Meaning at the start of each hour and 30 minutes into each hour, the emails get delivered.

Can anyone give me an idea of how to troubleshoot this?
