Hi there !

First time using Plesk. I have setup multiple accounts, but I have not been able to make Mail work. I cannot received nor send emails. Help is appreciated.

System:
Plesk Onyx
Version 17.0.17 Update #21
Server: Debian 8.7 (jessie)

I can create emails accounts, and login using the webmail feature (roundcube), If I try to send an email it ends by timeout.

File /var/log/mail.info shows:

This is normal behevior,

Did you consider to use the Plesk Repair Utility?

Apart from your additional issue now, this has got nothing to do with your initial issue. "mail.moly.cl" still has the very same issue:

I tried to configure the rDNS but I couldn't....it seems imposible without having ISP to create a DNS zone. It seems I cannot create the rDNS by myself (I use dnsmadeeasy service).

Hi Nicolas,

due to the fact, that you must have modified your postfix configuration files somehow, I recommend the switch to qmail and backwards to postfix, so that Plesk is able to restore default settings and configurations for postfix:

Thanks. I have only modified postfix after trying to make it work. (I only remember adding something to the "master.cf" file.

I runned both commands (installing qmail & then installing postifx), but the errors stills remains in the /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog file:

normally point to the fact, that your postfix - packages are not completely installed or/and that your "master.cf" misses the entries for "postmap". But since I saw your "master.cf" ( you should now delete the files from your webspace for security reasons ), I can confirm, that your "master.cf" has no misconfiguration.

But your "main.cf" should be corrected. As you can see, there are no IPs set at "mynetworks":

In addition, pls. be informed, that there is no reverse entry for the IP "186.67.26.179", which should point to your FQDN, or your servername.server-hoster-domain.com. Pls. contact your server hoster or ISP ( Entel Chile S.a. ) - they should help you with this issue.



If you still experience issues/errors/problems as shown in your logs ( according to: "... /var/spool/postfix/private/proxymap: No such file or directory" ), pls. consider to RE-install postfix with the following commands over your command line ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ):

For Debian/Ubuntu - based systems:
