  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Mailboxes for Domain-Aliases?

hi!

I got alias-tld.com as an "domain alias" of main-tld.com.
I'd like to create a mailbox mymailbox@alias-tld.com. Just a mailbox for this domain. No forwarding of mails sent to mymailbox@main-tld.com or vice-versa.
Is there a way to do this in PLESK or at least a way to do this manual without messing PLESK up?

I'd be grateful for a quick answer. :)

cheers

Hey.
Just a quick work-around to create mail-FORWARDERS to domain-ALIASES. May help someone ...
You need to log in as root, then do the following:

/var/qmail/control/virtualdomains =>> add domain / number

/var/qmail/users/assign ==> add mailaddress / number from virtualdomains

/var/qmail/mailnames/ ==> mkdir hostname, maildirmake mailadress

add .qmail:
| /opt/psa/bin/psa-spamc accept
| true
&addy1@domain.tld...
&addy2@otherdomain.tld...

CHOWN - POPUSER!

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-newu => update cdb

/etc/init.d/qmail reload

HTH!
