Mailenable pro and Plesk

I want to upgrade my mail to MailEnablePro. Plesk does not offer it thru their site, does anyone know if I purchase and install myself will it still integrate with the Plesk Panel?

any issues in upgrade am going to uogarde ME standard edition to professional 3.04 shortly

what do we need to do once ME upgrade completes

do we need to start plesk services, reconfigure anything? in panel /refresh any componenets?

Please use the application vendor’s solution. Plesk will detect upgraded Mailenable version automatically.

Backing up all the MailServer data is strongly recommended before the upgrade.

well i did a test upgrade

with only one domain in plesk - one email account
after reboot pleask - component services showed cross with mail enable 3.0.4 ,
refresh resulted in same status as wll
we strated plesk panel services again with mail services and then components services showed it up correctly

strange behaviour but i think this all shall be wriiten in kbs instead of writing "automatically"

but horde when logged in using IMap server still doesnt show deleted items and sent items?

Hello funky123,

Do you really want to use exactly Horde IMP as webmail?
MailEnable Pro does provide native webmail client which is not worse than Horde IMP.
You may switch default webmail client via Plesk > Server > Components management > Web Mail

There are many problems with Horde IMP. We are going to integrate Plesk with @mail soon and probably with Google webmail in future.

is there any special configuration i nee to do to start using ME webmail
i have installed ME pro 3.12as per default install steps with default options

what all i need to in plesk /IIS

mewebmail and mewebadmin in IIS is running as 127.0.0.1 /port80

MailEnable Pro/Ent 3 is supported by Plesk properly since version 8.3.

I Need some help with MailEnable Pro v3.14, on Plesk for Windows 8.3
I managed to load it and configure it to work, still having a couple of issues.

1) In the Plesk Components Management, I have enable MailEnable Web Client 2.0 along with the native Horde IMP H3 (4.1.4) , and i have enabled the domain that I wish to use MailEnable Web Client 2.0with both in the Plesk>Domain>Mail>Preferences & thru the MailEnable Pro GUI on the server MailEnable>Servers>Services>WebMail>Webmail Properties> General(Tab)>Site Configuration(Configure Option)
The problem is this when I try the url http://webmail.domainname.com.sg it resolves to http://webmail.domainname.com.sg/mewebmail/ and not http://webmail.domainname.com.sg/mewebmail/default.aspx where the webmail app actually is.
I have tried looking thru IIS > Default Web Site > MEWebMail (App) > Properties > Documents (Tab) and default.aspx is there yet it does not link .

Any Ideas Anyone?

2) How do i Include more services under Server > Services management as once i Load MailEnable Pro I need the following services in the plesk panel too.

MailEnable HTTPMail Service
MailEnable IMAP Service
MailEnable Management Service
MailEnable POP Connector

I am chossing mewebmail with plesk 8.2

as per KB http://kb.odin.com/en/3064 I did steps and refreshed componenet and am trying Browsing of webmail website through Plesk panel, Domains, domain.tld, Mail, mailbox@domain.tld fails with the following error:

well i changed asp.net version to 2.0 under webmail(defaullt ) /mewebmail virtual directory settings and isolated the mewebmail and webamin to a new pool ( with same settinsg as that of Mailenableappool and it worked fine after that
