• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Mails coming to non-existent postmaster accounts are delivered to me

Emre Kurt

New Pleskian
Greetings everyone,

I have a rather annoying problem. I am running a Plesk Obsidian 18.0.35 in a Centos 7.9 server. In the server there are 358 domains. Some of these domains are receiving spam mails to their postmaster account. But since there is not such mail account they are being delivered to my mail. I have tried to change /etc/aliases file but I am not sure I did the right thing. I had just tried to change the line that says
root: marc
I am pasting the file below. Anyone else had this issue?
Code:
#
# Aliases in this file will NOT be expanded in the header from
# Mail, but WILL be visible over networks or from /bin/mail.
#
# >>>>>>>>>> The program "newaliases" must be run after
# >> NOTE >> this file is updated for any changes to
# >>>>>>>>>> show through to sendmail.
