  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello.

I have a little problem with Plesk 9.2.
I want to use another mailserver then Mail Enable.
So i already have installed hMailserver 5.2.
But when i click Ok in the componentsmanagement so there this failure

Failure:Set default component failed: defpackagemng failed: Execute mchk.exe failed: Domain xxxxx.de [xxxx.de] does not exist.

What can i do?

I have a Windowsserver with Windows 2003 64bit

What about xxxx.de? Is it present in Plesk/MailEnable?

Try to compare actual mailboxes list for xxxx.de and postoffices list in MailEnable manager.

once problem is fixed - mchk should work fine:
"%plesk_bin%\mchk" --all

Unfortunately still in 9.2.1 they have not updated the integration with hMailServer unless you use the latest 4.4 version

Thank you.

I have now installed hMailServer 4.4.1 and it works very fine.
