  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello All,
I am new to plesk and still trying to understand how it works. I would like to know if i can use plesk to manage my local files on my server. for example i have installed plesk on my machine and i want to be able to access and manage files on my C: drive through plesk, I don't know if that is possible? thanks

No, it is impossible to manage files on local disks through Plesk. With Plesk File Manager you can manage files only in scope of webspace of your sites. Imagine, it would be not quite secure if you would manage files of another Plesk users and someone will manage your own files.
