  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Manage only one subdomain

CobraArbok

Regular Pleskian
I have a domain with related webapplications on a server.
Then we find at the IP address 11.22.33.44:

I would like to manage webmail on a second VPS on which Plesk Onyx is present.
Then at IP address 99.88.77.66 we find:
  • webapp.mydomain.tld

But I can't understand how I can do it because in Plesk I have to first create a domain and only then can I create a subdomain.

The first server is the "master" name server and therefore I would configure the Plesk in the second VPS as a DNS slave.

Thanks in advance for every referral and help.

Just enter the entire subdomain in the form field where you'd usually enter the domain.

In other words, instead of creating an example.com domain, create a sub.example.com domain.
