  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

mchk.exe corrupted

I'm using Plesk For Windows 8.2 on Windows server 2003.

In plesk\admin\bin I find the mchk.exe utility with a filesize of 0 bytes. Clearly this file has gone corrupted.

I used the utility a lot. Can anyone send me a copy of the file (preferably in zipped format) to Info@ShareIT.nu?

Thanks,

Jeroen van Craaikamp

Hello Jeroen,
To restore corrupted files you need to use Add/Remove programs -> Plesk -> change -> Repair.

Anyway i have sent mchk to you.

I don't recommend you to run Repair to restore single file.
I recommend to run Repair in case when all other ways don't help.

Yes, I would do that normally as well. However, after loading the most recent fix I get a checksum error after loading 728 MB from the SWsoft site (4 chunks)
