  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Just upgraded to a dedicated server with Plesk 11, im essentially a novice - growing to intermediate by the day.
The reason for upgrading is to run an e-commerce site using Magento - but I've hit a blocker:

Installing the mcrypt extension.

I have no clue, any support and information gratefully received.

Ben

But have you tried install Magento from Plesk Application Catalog for domain's subscription? Any troubles with it?

Problem I have is that we are very far down the development plan - now at UAT stage. I we re-install Magento I fear we will have many issues that will set us back. This is primarily a server config. issue, right? If so, what can be done manually.

Thanks!
