• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello, according to http://kb.odin.com/en/6086 it is possible to define the "max letter size to filter" parameter on versions 7 and 8.

We`re with version 9.2.2 , please could someone confirm how to define MAX_SIZE to more than 256000 on version 9?

Spammers are sending mails with sizes between 260000 to 400000 bytes.

Thank you in advance.

As you can see in the mentioned KB article this value is hardcoded in spamassassin for preventing load server hard while processing big messages by spamassassin.

The max letter size should be configurable, it is because the spamers realized that such limit has been set to 250k and easily avoid the spam filter by increasing the message size, just a bit higher (300K). Parallels shouldn´t arbitrarily set a fixed limit in prevention of server overloading, you never prevent it, because this matter relies exclusively on the server resources and administrator criteria.

So, in plain and simple text: The spamers are sending a lot of 300K messages, my server, Plesk Panel+spamassassin is NOT filter them
Could you help me with something wise that Parallels has prevented for this (obvious case)??

Plesk Panel version: 10.1.1 There is not possible to use older versions because security issues

Regards
