  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Messed up my plesk 12.0.18

Dustan D

New Pleskian
I uninstalled php and it killed plesk dependencies. So I reinstalled plesk but unfortunately reinstalled 12.5.30

Now i go to install 12.0.18 back but its gone came across a uninstall script for older version but getting worried about removing too much again as all myt sites are running fine jsut no plesk I get

ERROR: Zend_Db_Table_Row_Exception: Specified column "plesk_max_version" is not in the row

Additionally, an exception has occurred while trying to report this error: Zend_Db_Table_Row_Exception
Specified column "plesk_max_version" is not in the row (Abstract.php:179)

I have dumps of the sql so that shouldn't be an issue if I try a repair it basically wants to delete my psa database figuring 12.5 must of changed the db a bit or soemthing.

Anyway bottom line is whats the safest way to uninstll 12.5.30 and then get 12.0.18 back on.

Using CentOS 6.7

Thanks Much for any help,
Dustan

Hi Dustan D,

please have a look at: Plesk Uninstall Script (Linux) ( Forum - link )

Please be aware that the "Uninstall script" is declared to work with Plesk 12.0, so I'm not sure, if it does a satisfying job for 12.5 as well. Consider to wait for other forum - users to answer this question, or wait for an Odin-Team - Member to answer that.

Before you start your uninstall - process, please backup your last 12.0.18-mysql - dump, which should be located at:

/var/lib/psa/dumps

( .. or the path you defined at your own "psa.conf". Please get the path with: grep DUMP_D /etc/psa/psa.conf )
