• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Migrate from Confixx to Plesk - Migration Manager Onyx 17.5

futureweb

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
I just tried to do a migration from one of our older Confixx Servers to a fresh updated Plesk Onyx 17.5.
But it seems PMM won't connect to Confixx Server anymore ... are there any known issues with 17.5 PMM / Confixx?
See Error in Screenshot - why would it try to connect to a Plesk API when trying to migrate from Confixx?
thx
Andreas Schnederle-Wagner

Make sure that in file /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini you have

Code:
[api]
enabled = on

Add it if it doesn't exist.
Also, add IP address from the error to the list of networks from which login to Plesk with administrator's privileges is allowed on the destination server under Tools&Settings > Restrict Administrative Access > Add Network .

@IgorG - thx - that did the Trick! ;-)
is the API enable Param new?
And it's a bit weird that I have to whitelist Plesk's own IP Address :)
