Migrated domain goes 404 when starting with www. Bad alias?

Hello all!

I have a dedicated server L2 with 1and1, with Plesk 11.5.30 installed, and I am having a nightmare with a migrated domain. Propagation time has passed, and it just works without the "www", that is, something like: domain.com

I checked the DNS records and it does have a CNAME entry with "www.domain.com" pointing at "domain.com". Also checked using ping.eu utilities, both domains point to my server IP.

If I try to add an alias, plesk tells me that I already have an alias for www.domain.com and of course, I can't make a new one.

I already tried to restart the services, even restart the server.

Also, I deleted the CNAME record and added "www.domain.com" as an alias, same result.

Also tried with the domain.tld options on hosting settings (at preferred domain), if I put www.domain.tld as a default, even domain.com goes 404. I have domain.tld as a default on that option.

I keep getting:

Not Found

The requested URL / was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Even worse, I tried to add some other domain I am not using as a test, following the same steps in Plesk, and that one DOES resolve with and without the www. Compared both and they look the same.

Anyone else had this problem? Any info will be appreciated.

Solved.

Turns out the problem was the domain's DNS propagation. All good after 72 hours.
