Hello all,

anyone can suggest me how to migrate to plesk 8 using Suse 9.1 ?

I do not want to consider to go to my datacenter, swith off, reinstall a new suse, reinstall plesk 7.5.4, restore backup and upgrade....

There's an easiest way?

Thanks
Stefano

As far as I know there is no upgrade path from SuSE 9.1 to Plesk 8. I had SuSE 9.1 and had to reinstall everyting from scratch. Some advice, do what you said, install new hardware, Install Plesk 7.5.4 and restore backup. Wait till you are happy that your restore went fine (wait a week or so) and then only upgrade to Plesk 8.0. Try to have a backup machine in case your re-install or upgrade breaks. Re-installing a fresh Plesk or doing an upgrade will definitely loose some settings. Be prepared.
