  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Migration frustration

I thought I had read through the documents correctly.

I saw a couple mentions that it's OK to backup your server on linux, and import those domains into a windows Plesk box.

I don't see how that could work, but i went ahead and tried it.

Of course it didn't work, but I'm stuck wondering which way to turn.

I'm migrating a somewhat small amount of domains but I need to get this done so I can take my server offline. there's only 120 domains we're talking about, and the backups only come to 6GB (when backing up the entire psa).

The files the windows restore is looking for is a .psa file. But of course linux doesn't make those, and they aren't zip compressed files.

How can I take Plesk reloaded 7.5.2 backups and restore them to a Windows 7.x?

Any help appreciated greatly.

Where are the documents in a windows -> linux transfer? Were you able to get this done?
