• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Migration - new IP address not found

rawbert

New Pleskian
I'm trying to migrate from one VPS to another. Same VPS specs (Except the new one has SP1 on the Server 2008 R2 OS), Plesk 11 on both.
Migration agent installed and running on the old server and I can connect to it and browse it from the new server via run> \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\C$

Migration starts out fine, but when I get to the 'Define IP Addresses Mapping' screen, there's no IP showing under 'New IP Addresses'.. it says: 'IP address not found'.
Tried some suggestions like switching IP setting from dedicated to shared but it didn't help. Both ip's were dedicated originally and I tried both shared and one shared one dedicated in all combinations to no avail.
Also tried 'Upload IP Mapping File' where I put both ips in a text file but it won't upload at all.

Another suggestion was manually editing the ip_pool table in the psa mySQL database but I don't see a psa db when I log into phpMyAdmin.

Please help!
Thanks,
Rob
