  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

mod_rewrite in windows plesk

I am using a Windows 2003 server with plesk 8.2.0 and i just created a new domain enabling PHP and MySql support.

Here is the trouble: seem like the module mod_rewrite cannot be loaded even is correctly anabled in the httpd.conf

I havent found information about this on this forum and online.

You know, I'm having the same problem. I wonder why nobody has answered this. Has it been fixed in Plesk 8.4, can anybody at Parallels confirm or deny a special-circumstances type of conflict that would prevent the Micronovae IIS Mod-Rewrite from working?

Product here: http://www.micronovae.com/ModRewrite/ModRewrite.html

I'm a Plesk "reseller account" user with a Platinum Partner Host. The Platinum Partner tried to get it working, but ran into issues, suggesting that custom registry editing may be required. Is this true? Is there not a better way? Maybe it's just an oversight by Parallels that can be corrected in the next patch or update?
