Moving a domain from shared to exclusive

I accidentally set up my ip's as shared then created www.clientdomain.com. When previewing the domain I get http://www.mydomain.com/clientdomain.com/. I want it to be www.clientdomain.com.

I have since reconfigured the ips for exclusive, deleted www.clientdomain.com and reconfigured it. I still get http://www.mydomain.com/clientdomain.com/ when previewing and a 404 error when going to www.clientdomain.com.

Does anyone know how I need to reconfigure the client ip pool/domain to solve this?
