  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Multiple PHP versions per hosting/directory

New Pleskian
Hi all,

Wonder if anyone can throw some ideas ... Running CentOS 6.7 with Plesk 12.5.x.

Running PHP 5.6.x at the moment and all runs great. I’ve also got PHP 7 installed along side at same Plesk box.

I’ve already changed the PHP handler to PHP 7 and all works great EXCEPT for one "old days" application therefore one single application (that runs well on PHP 5.6) is preventing me from upgrading to PHP 7.0.4.

Can anyone suggests or knows a away so I can use a different PHP version JUST for one single directory in Plesk? (Under the same hosting)?

(and no .. not possible to upgrade/re-engineer the application as it would cost thousands of £’s to do)

Thanks in advance

Ricardo

At the moment, there is no official method for running different php handlers in the scope of one subscription. I think that you can create the separate subscription and move site with this "old days" application to this subscription with appropriate php handler.
