  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Multiple PHP versions - Ubuntu 10.04

Does this article work for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS ?

http://kb.parallels.com/en/118378

Using Plesk 11.5.30 and PHP 5.3.2 - but a few of the domains on my VPS are running various versions of Joomla CMS (2.5 & 3.x) + the next release of Joomla (3.3) will be released soon and the min spec for that is PHP 5.3.10, so ideally I need to have PHP 5.4 on there too.

I'm also no guru at this, so any help in easy layman's terms would be greatly appreciated !

Cheers

OK thx Igor.. so I'm presuming that there shouldn't be any problems then !

I'll give this a go and no doubt will probably be back with more questions..

Cheers

I've decided to bypass the multiple php versions and just go with upgrading PHP5.3.2 to the latest 5.4 - mainly a compatibility reason for my existing sites and all I need at this moment in time.

Unfortunately I can't find any good documentation on how to upgrade to PHP5.4 - what's the easiest way to achieve this ? Any help in easy 1,2,3 terms please !

Thx again.
