My roundcube webmail doesn't work after I upgraded from Plesk 11.5.3 to 12

Hi, I'm new user of Plesk panel so I'm not so familiar with some things however I updated two days ago the Plesk panel from the Panel itself and it was succesfully but at webmail URL which it appeared one error about default.inc something but after I did refresh some times it disappeared now it doesn't show anything. I tried removing and reinstalling roundcube but still doesn't work..

Here are my logs from /var/log/plesk-roundcube/errors

Hi Afrim_Azizi,

as a first step, you always can try the "bootstrapper repair procedure", which detects and repairs problems regarding your Plesk installation:

Open a secure shell to your server with the login as root and perform the command:

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair​

... if there are any errors, then have an eye on the last sentences from the output of the command:

If problems persist, please check installer logs ('/var/log/plesk/install/plesk_12.0.18_repair.log' and '/var/log/plesk/install/plesk_12.0.18_repair_problems.log') for errors.

It will guide you directly to the path, where the error - log and repair - logs are placed. Please include these logs, if you still experience issues, or if the logs contain errors.

I tried this command but nothing happens as you can see on the image below...

I've checked that installer logs they are empty, and how I know after installation it doesn't had any errors while upgrading.

The Plesk Panel seems to work well but the webmail doesn't work I was trying to use roundcube

Hi Afrim_Azizi,

sometimes, when you copy & paste commands from a forum, spaces, special symbols, breaks or formatting have been copied as well, without that you see it at the command line. If you experience such issues, either TYPE the command by hand, or copy & paste the command from the forum first into notepad ( or any similiar text - editor ) and copy again from there, because a text - editor will never have formatting in the lines.

Please check the mentioned logs AFTER your bootstrapper repair... you will see that it is very different to the installer.log.


The Plesk Control Panel might work without issues, but this doesn't mean, that you might not have missing configurations files, or even some misconfigured webserver - configuration files for your domain - the bootstrapper repair procedure will find such things and repair them. If you see, what checks are done wit the bootstrapper, you might as well come to the conclusion, that investigating all these files and configurations manually will take days. ^^

Ok now it works thank you very much for the assistance I needed to move to the bootstrapper.sh directory and execute it in this way ./bootstrapper.sh repair and it worked out.. Now there is no problem with accessing mail.

I just executed bootstrapper.sh repair function and it worked.. This command: /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair didn't worked for me directly but instead of that I tried in this way and it worked out.
These are the steps:
1 - after loging to your server execute this: cd /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper/ which will take you to the directorium of the shell script
2 - to execute it enter this: ./bootstrapper.sh repair

And then the process will take few minutes and after that my issue was solved. And copy this commands to a text editor so you can get a clean text without formatting
