• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I would like to migrate my current plesk config on SuSE 10 32bit server to my new server with SuSE 11.1 64 bit. What is the best way to this migration with the least downtime. Is there a standard procedure for this kind of hardware upgrades. Schould I use the migration manager ... or use the plesk backup/restore. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hello,

Web applications and website usually do not depend on the system architecture (32bit or 64bit). You can use any preferable variant of migration. The Migration manager will allow you to migrate with the lowest downtime.
You can find more information on preparing to the migration in the following article:

You can find more information on migration with migration manager in the following guide:
