• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How does anyone et .net working with plesk 9.3?
the applciation pool identites are all denied access to the virtual root and so fails with unable to create app domain and File I/O exceptions.

i've tried this on both windows 2008 and 2003 and now I have customers absolutly screaming at me becuase their sites have now been down for several days.

I need a solution as quick as possible please.

Could you please describe this problem with more details? With step-by-step instruction for reproducing, error logs, useful messages from Event Viewer, etc?

ASP/ASP.NET problems

We have a similar problem - after upgrading to Plesk 9.3 we discovered that Plesk had deleted firewall rules for udp/tcp 53 thus keeping any domain from resolving...

We figured that out but now we have a problem with all asp/asp.net sites as they all fail for some reason - they don´t even resolve for some reason...

Any ideas?
