• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Plesk 6.5: Domain uses default vhost page?

I have a brand spanking new Pleask 6.5 install from a server I'm getting from EV1, and I put the 1st domain name on it. I added it in the Plesk interface, and put it in the EV1's DNS system.

When I ftp into the site, and upload my pages - it gets there fine, but when I go to the site on the web, its the default landing page of Plesk

In looking deeper, when I go into IIS, I can see the IP address of my server as the default vhost folder, with the domain name as a sub folder of this, and inside that is my files. But its not pulling from that location, its pulling from the root of the IP address folder.

Any ideas? HELP!

Thanks,
Joe

Figured it out

I updated to the latest version of 6.5.2, and it fixed it!!!

I'm a happy camper now.
