• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

nice urls

I've made this suggestion about nice urls before, but I was hoping to get some feedback from other SiteBuilder users on the subject. I would like to see what I call "nice urls" where the url resembles the page title. For example, the url to a 1st level page entitled "Products" would be www.domain.com/products. The url to a 2nd level page under Products entitled "Books" would be www.domain.com/products/books. This may be most easily accomplished by adding an override for advanced users and using php rewrite configuration in the apache config file. I e-mailed SW-Soft and advised that I would be more than glad to make this contibution myself; however, I understand that this is not open source software and there is licensing involved so I don't know if we can make changes to the SiteBuilder php files. Has anyone else desired to see this option? The currently urls in my opinion are very ugly. Maybe it's just me... I'm pleased to say that all of my other past concerns have been addressed through the lastest version! Great job SiteBuilder team!
