• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved No email from the URL on the VPS

New Pleskian
Hello,
I am a new Plesk user. My old-website run on a vps that the mail also passes over. I installed my website on my own vps and everything works fine. (Put the ip in the dns a record from the old vps)

From the new website I can send a email to any mail addresses, but not to my own mail address. (There are forums who must send a cc to my own address)

So foto-groep.nl is working fine, but a email to webshop@foto-groep.nl is not working. (To any other email , no problem)

What do I have to set up in Plesk to get these emails from the vps?

Thanks in advance.

Marcel

It looks like you have various MX records and none appear to be resolving to a Plesk based server.

If your mail is being handled externally, you'll need to switch off the mail service on the domain in Plesk to prevent mail from your website from trying to stay local.
