  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question No fully TLS on SMTP

ffischer

Basic Pleskian
Hello,
i had a security mail gateway, that checks incomming Mails.
And this system told me, that die Mail Flow not total secured by TLS is.

So i checked the Mail Headers.

a bit simplified here:

New Mail by External Sender to my Root Server (host1.domain.net) by TLS - OK
next Step: host1.domain.net 127.0.0.1 - no TLS
host1.domain.net 127.0.0.01 - no TLS

Get by the Secure gateway (TLS)

Hope someone can help ..

That should be alright that on localhost mails are "transmitted" unencrypted, because transactions are happening on the same machine.

Hi,
this maybe correct, but the Mail Security Gateway analyse the Mail Flow - and this non Encrypted Flow is for the Mail Gateway a Problem.
Any Workarrounds for this , if possible. or is this made by design?
