  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Notification emails from Plesk not being sent even though I followed Plesk docs for configuration

I am trying to set email notifications from my plesk server, already followed the plesk docs on configuring automatic email notifications here Automatic Email Notifications

The issue I have is that notification emails are not being stn from the server. Eg. I have tried creating a new site, which should send a notification (as per my configuration), however, no email is received, and "/var/log/mail.log" shows no log entries related to this notification, mail queue is also empty.

Also, I can't find the way to set the email address use by plesk as a "sender" addres for this notifications, is there any place to set it? I would like the notifications to be sent from my local server, which I understand is default behaviuor.

I have tried researching all the plesk forums but cannot find the solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
