  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue nrpe - Could not complete SSL handshake

Franco

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

in my VPS /var.log.messages I get a lot of error messages of the kind:

--vps nrpe[44597]: Error: (!log_opts) Could not complete SSL handshake with x.x.x.x

I tried to follow this document NRPE - CHECK_NRPE: Error - Could Not Complete SSL Handshake

I perhaps need to recompile it with SSL enabled, as they explain at the end; however, I have no source code in my VPS, at least I am not aware of, and it's probably coming from a repo. I would then have to uninstall it and install it from source.

Am I on the right track and how do I proceed with that installation, or is there another solution?

My config is latest Centos 7 with Plesk 17.8.11 #48.

Many thanks in advance for your help.
