  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

OpenVPN routing and Plesk firewall

JANSEO

New Pleskian
Dear Parallels Support,

I am trying to install an OpenVPN server on a CentOS with Plesk 12.0.8 server however I am unable to add the required iptables routing rules beause of the automated iptables management of Plesk.

I need to add the following rule:

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.8.0.0/24 -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE

Is it possible to add this rule or enable internet access to a OpenVPN server with Plesk Firewall?

Best Regards,
Jan
