• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
hello .. i just updated Plesk from 11.5 to 12. I am on a virtual server where i have a 250k inode limit. Before the update i had 59k inodes left which was fine but now after the update i only have 19k left which will make it very hard to work with this server.

How can i clean this up, where did the update generate so many inodes ? Or does the new version really need 40k more inodes ?

the real question was:

where did the update generate so many inodes ? Or does the new version really need 40k more inodes ?

before doing the update i had cleaned up my inodes as much as possible so i had 59k left .. after the update i only have 19k left ... so the missing 40k free inodes are eaten up by the update ... are there any temporary/backup or other files i can remove in specific places ?

after further investigation there seems to be no way to claim back those inodes ... also v12 consumes around 45% of m CPU ressources whereas on 11.5 i only use 15-20% ... so i reverted back to 11.5 and am back to 60k free inodes and only <20% CPU usage .. i also couldn't find anything in v12 that was worth the upgrade so i'm going to stick with 11.5
