• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Package Update Manager notification Errors

New Pleskian
Hello, I am getting emails with the following listed below. At first, I was getting emails about updates not working but after a month or so I was able to finally resolve them. The error in these emails has to do with the Systems Updates Tool:

Hello, Administrator
Some problems occurred with the System Updates tool on your server mytesterz.pw. Please resolve them manually.

Reason: 2020-08-16 06:26:50 INFO: pum is called with arguments: ['--list', '--repo-info', '--json']
2020-08-16 06:26:51 ERROR:
2020-08-16 06:26:51 ERROR: Exited with returncode 1.

I've been searching around the net but still haven't sound an answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Ah! Thanks! That reminds that I've neglected to mention that I've seen that page and ran " apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y " many times but have always seen the following two errors in separate emails since I've first installed Plesk. After running "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y" ssh would either show me the same errors or would say that it updated the necessary modules, etc. but in the Plesk admin it would still say it did not upgrade them nor would it complete the upgrades within the admin. However, since the last Plesk Obsidian update the updates in the admin seem to be working although I am still getting the emails:

Please note that there are other errors but they are for extensions that I've installed after trying to deal with those errors. The errors above made me think there's something wrong with the plesk and debian update servers. I'm still not sure if they are working correctly or not. Maybe something went wrong with the initial Plesk install. Am thinking of reinstalling it. There's nothing of value on it yet...only two test sites.
