• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Parallels Installation

Sys2Admin

New Pleskian
Hi,
I hope someone can help?
We want to install parallels plesk hosting panel on a windows hyper-v vps, would you install on the public IP address or on private IP and then use NAT (port forwarding) for enable required services?

thanks

Installing on public IP would be easier and more reliable. If you wish using NAT, you will need a trick - while you would host sites on internal IPs, you would need manually modify DNS zones (or DNS templates for future zones) for external IPs in A record.
