  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Perl without mod_perl

New Pleskian
Hi Folks,

has anyone a little hint how I can run Perl scripts wihout enabling mod_perl?

(I have a huge program which uses perl globals ... yes, I'm working on a fix. But I need a fast workaround und the whole program is fixed.)

On Suse I used a version with vhosts.conf, but unfortunately on ubuntu with parallels 11.0.9 it doesnt seem to work.

I hope anyone can help me.

All the best

**** ... it seems my vhosts.conf is completely ignored.

I put it into /conf/
called: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-domain *MyDomain*
called: /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
and whoops ... no Perl. ****.
