• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi
I recently moved all my websites from Plesk 8.6 to 9.5.2 as my hosting provider said that the random issues of permissions just resetting itself. Unfortunately after moving my domains to the new server I am again faced with the issue of permissions resetting themselves... ASP.NET and Network Service will disappear from view. This can also be triggered when a new FTP account is created. I was under the impression Plesk 9.5.2 fixes this issue with DNN? Any people can advise please. I do not want to move hosts but cannot continue like this.

Does anyone have this issue where the IWPD user will loose its modify permissions... This can be trigger either randomly or when a new feature, ie a new FTP user is added.

I think this happens if the custom permissions are set on the httpdocs folder. Try leaving the permissions of the httpdocs folder as they are and set the needed permissions directly on the child folders and files.
