  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question PHP and node js coexist?

raytracy

Basic Pleskian
My client has an PHP webapp running well with Plesk Onyx 17 (CentOS).

But he ask me to install a small node js environment which listen to port 3000 and accept connection from localhost PHP app only.

Since I am a idiot to node js, I don't know how can I fulfill the requirement without break Plesk and PHP web?

Just install node js from Plesk software package?
Does that will break the exist PHP website and not listen to port 3000?....
